The Corrigan law firm has vast experience in handling administrative law proceedings.
The firm has handled hundreds of matters before the State of New Jersey, Office of Administrative Law. These matters include:
- Civil service matters (e.g. appointment, discipline and matters arising under the “rule of three”);
- Pension matters; and
- Matters arising under school law (e.g. tenure, increment withholdings,school contract issues).
The firm has a long history of appearing before the Public Employment Relations Commission (“PERC”). Corrigan was the Special Assistant to the Chairman of PERC from 1983-1988. In that capacity, Corrigan drafted Commission decisions, served as Hearing Officer in complex labor and employment matters and represented the Commission in matters before the Appellate Division of the Superior Court and the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Corrigan has also appeared before the State of New Jersey, Division of Civil Rights, the New Jersey Commissioner of Education, New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the National Labor Relations Board.
